Future of Work

Imagine, you have been working as a notary for 26 years and from next month on the Blockchain will do your job. How do you feel?

Worldwide, digitalization and automation will take over a large part of the fields of work known today. It is estimated that 65% of all activities currently performed by humans will be automatable within the next 10 to 20 years. But as jobs are lost, completely new work profiles will emerge - with consequences that we have yet to address. How do we create a transition of employees into new fields of work and how do we shape the future of work?

Our research and practice in the betterplace lab therefore focuses on the question of what the necessary competencies are for work in the 21st century and how we can impart them on a large scale.

We have done this, among other things, with the study "Fit for the Digital Transformation", sponsored by Ashoka and Randstand, and in our innovation labs for professional development.
