Connection in a Fragmented Society on February 27 and 28, 2025
Starting from the theme of societal fragmentation, we will explore our diverse relationships— with ourselves, our fellow humans, and nature— in a two-day process with 150 changemakers.

October 29, 2024: In the coX with Daniel auf der Mauer, we consciously brought to the surface the tensions and conflicts that we experience daily as engaged individuals and oriented ourselves in new ways. As a pioneer of conflict transformation, Daniel auf der Mauer presented a new approach to the topic of conflict—namely, effectively integrating and thereby alleviating the emotional overwhelm that lies at the core of every conflict.
Networking Meeting as Part of the "Systemic Approach to Misinformation" Series
October 16, 2024: Misinformation is not an issue that is easy to penetrate and “correct.” Therefore, we invited everyone affected by misinformation in their engagement to come together digitally for two hours with their experiences in tow— for new knowledge, networking, and deepening.
Community Health Buddy Training
October 15 and 16, 2024: In October, we held our Community Health Buddy training for the first time. In this 10-hour event, community managers are trained to initiate and support health-promoting measures in their workplaces.
Open Workshop: "Systemic Approach to Misinformation"
September 25, 2024: In this two-hour workshop, we look at how misinformation arises and spreads, as well as what approaches exist to combat misinformation. We also want to understand misinformation as a symptom that gives us insights into a specific state of our society. We aim to illuminate this state more closely during the workshop and address the underlying causes.
Lunchtime: "Systemic Approach to Misinformation"
September 11, 2024: In this 30-minute lunchtime format, we examine the phenomenon of misinformation and initiate a discussion about how engaged individuals cope with misinformation.
Myth of "Being a Man" – Pathways to Fluid Collaboration
July 12, 2024: Following great feedback from our men’s workshop last fall/winter with leadership coach and organizational developer Leo Meyer-Schwickerath, we are once again offering a day-long workshop and experience space on new forms of collaborative work and the role model of men, this time with support from Lukas Harlan.
Systemic Approach to Misinformation on Climate Protection
April 16 & 17, 2024: A two-day workshop where participants explore a systemic approach to misinformation. The workshop is aimed at actors engaged in climate protection who encounter misinformation in their work, particularly when communicating with target groups affected by misinformation. Additionally, it addresses actors actively combating misinformation, who are already dealing with strategies against misinformation and/or testing or implementing such approaches in the world.

August 8, 2023: Men’s researcher Christoph May, co-founder of the Institute for Critical Men's Studies, was a guest. The three-hour workshop focused on men's groups, male fantasies, critical masculinity, and feminist collaboration.

Where Does Courage Come From?
On September 2, 2022, we held our conference on engagement, new work, and systemic change at bUm – a space for solidarity. Together with around 150 people, we asked ourselves: Where does courage come from? In 11 interactive sessions, we exchanged ideas on topics such as wellbeing, collaboration, and new work.
